Went out to Potholes thinking the fish were biting, stayed at Mar Don. Got a few small bass off the dock, took the boat out later. I caught 2 13 inch smallies, one off a buzzbait, a lot of other 6 inchers, along the rock wall of the dam. Tuesday went back along the sand dune face, was a little windy so I tried trolling walleye stuff. Didn't get nothing doing that, ended up getting a foot long Largemouth in the frenchmans on a spinnerbait. Later that day got 10 crappie/bluegill off the mar don dock. All and all, they say the water is still to high, and the fishing is very slow for Potholes standards. I won't be going back for a while, until I see some good reports on their website.
