My son Woody and I fished the Crab Creek area of PotHoles Sat and Sunday. Fishing was great, catching keepers was bad. We fished about 6 hours Sat afternoon and caught about 8 fish but only 4 were big enough to keep, barely. Had to go hide on shore for a couple hours in the afternoon as a big thunderstorm hit the area.
We fished Sunday morning from 6 to noon and Woody caught a 23 inch walleye on the east side of the Crab Creek channel. That was the only keeper and we caught 3 or 4 shakers. We used mostly chartreuse worm harness's as usual but the bite was very slow. I don't know where the legal size fish were but hopefully they will be there the next time I get over there.
