It's been a few years since I fished Clear lake and I was excited to get out there, fish, and shoot some video. First, remember, the launch is on the NORTH side. :-)

Good fishing, immediately hooked a 12" rainbow on a olive wooley bugger (which I never changed for the two hours I was there). Fish are hitting best in 7-12 feet of water as they come up from the weedline. I saw stockers swimming everywhere. The only downside for me was I caught almost all in the 7-9" range. Oh well, still fun to be actually catching something! I never had to let the sinking line get too deep and was trolling at a slow clip, as slow as I could get the motor to idle down to.

Caught around 10 fish and then it was off to Ohop.

What time did you get to the lake? It was a great looking fish.

started fishing around 8am and finished 10ish. Biggest fish of the day that I saw. I take it your's were the stockers as well?

Yes they were stockers around 10". I am going to smoke them. You must be an early riser. I slept in because I had to work until 9pm Monday night. But if I time it right I can fish the morning and get home in time to get ready for work.
