got to the lake for my first time around noon. water was clear, no wind, overcast with some light sprinkles. I started trolling a gold kastmaster and without a single bite once I reached the other end, I decided to switch. I ran a chartreuse wedding ring on 4 lb with no weight right on the surface about 20 feet behind my row/ raft. Nothing. I added a chartreuse power bait "tail" to my wedding ring and was getting hits every 5 minutes or so. Nice 10-12 inchers. I let my 3 year old daughter reel them in. She had a blast. Left the lake about 2 pm. Only about 4-5 boats/ tubers on the water at once. I had the lake to myself for a short while. Saw some bald eagles, a few deer. Very nice secluded lake. I will definitely be checking it out again soon.

Nice...I might have to make it out there with full sinking line as I hear some huge bows are taken deeeeeeeep. The topo map shows its deepest around 100 feet! Wow. Good report! I'll have to scout it out. KTK
