took a friend and his son out in the lizzard with me for my first time on the lake this year. we were the first ones at the ramp and put in the water at 0530. a really pleasant morning with no wind. we trolled the usual areas i like, but it was a slow go (about an hour) to get our first fish. within the next 2- 2 1/2 hours, we caught 6 more fish, none of them over 15 inches, with most of them around the 12-13" range. not really the action or the fish i remember from last year. by 1000 or so the lake was filling up with people and boats, so we called it a day. the weather was nice, we had some fun, and caught a few fish. i call that a good day by any standards.
