I went to Lake Tapps with my wife. I caught ten Smallmouth with the largest weighing two pounds seven ounces. The other nine all were in the pound to pound and a half weight range. Used a Watermelon with Green/Red flake Senko, Texas Rigged around the boat docks mostly in about three to 8 feet of water. Also fished some submerged timber.

We also tried Hotspots and spinners and x-Raps but not any luck there. They were eating up the Senko.

Lake Tapps has restored my faith in Bass Fishing. I have tried Lake Sammamish and Lake Washington with not much luck at all I guess due to water temperature still being to cold. Water temperature at Lake Tapps was 64 to 65 so bass were much more active.

I can't wait until next weekend to give them a try again.
