I have fished Robbins now for 3-4 times and have always had a good trip there. Nothing large, just some nice rainbows in the 8-12 inch size. Its a nice and quiet lake and a joy to paddle a float tube on. Pretty much have caught fish everywhere on the lake, but find the east/south end to be the most productive.
I would go back, if for nothing else to try new flies and to keep one or two for the wife and I to have for supper.
Good luck and stay safe

Not that I have fished for. There doesn't seem to be the right type of terrain though as there is not a lot of cover areas, but then again I am not a bass fisherman so I really don't know.
Always worth a try though

I fished both Robbins and Aldrich for bass a few years ago and bombed out. There was, however, a lot of small bluegil in Aldrich -- good bass food.

Not much of a bass fisher, love to chase the Rainbows. Thinking about heading out to Tarboo tomorrow am, anybody have thoughts about that lake?
Thanks -- have fun and be safe out there
