Trent and I launched the old Bass Tracker onto Crescent Lake about 5:30 AM. Weather was cool and overcast but almost calm wind. We fished long and hard before Trent put the first fish into the boat. We caught a couple more and missed a couple. The fish were not of bragging size and were released. A few other boats appeared on the lake by the time we left about 1:30. One trout angler reported catching 3 fish and one bass angler reported one small bass. Water is still cold and so is the catching. To cite an old adage, "The fishing was great but the catching was a little slow." ------ And, I was introduced to the largest plastic worms I have seen -- These beasts were really the King Kong of worms.
