Hit Lake Washington Friday Evening with my nephew around 6PM,..launched the Trihull at the Hydro Pits and headed to our favorite spots along mercer Island and near Coulon,..found our favorite fallen tree,..2nd cast,..medium retrieve,..BAM,..fish on,..nice 2.5 lb Smallie,..10 minutes later same tree,..same retrieve,..same results,..hit another spot and fished for some nice Perch for the BBQ later,..caught about 4,..all 6"-8",..headed back to the launch to p/u 2 more nephews and stayed on the water till about 9PM,..everyone caught fish even the Greenhorn Marcus who caught some nice Perch. Great day on the water for the 1st day of Summer!! Smallies were C&R. Also caught 2 nice size "Squaw" fish.

No problemo quadradomus,..do you fis Lk Wa alot? I've just recently started this season and I must say it's a blast,..so much area to cover,..havn't been on the north side of I-90 yet but I plan to very soon,..finding most of the shoreline near Eastside of Seward and Mercer Island to be very productive,..mostly top water action,..not too much on Texas Rig though,..I have even caught a Smallie on a worm and bobber,..lol,..been trying various techniques on landing these Smallies,..any suggestions or tips on hot spots? Thanks bud!
