6/30/2008 7:36:00 AMI got it at 5:30 am before the traffic one dock down from my house. I have no idea what the water temp was I didn't take the boat, I was flying solo in the canoe instead -old school. The fish towed me around a while and spun me in a 360. I got a net on it just a few feet from my own dock, and Mama ran down from the house in her PJ's for a quick picture. what a trooper. The fish was only out of the water for a few seconds and released unharmed he bolted right back under my dock . Back to his home.

6/30/2008 2:54:00 PMFor fishing close to home , solo , and early before the skiers show up there's something peaceful and calming about the canoe, until a muskie blows up your lure. The funny thing is I've caught a lot more muskies in it than in the boat. Maybe its stealthier. And yes it was a 5 star morning.
