Went down to Fenwick today, I don't own a boat, so I went fishing off the main dock with a 7 1/2 in. purple worm. Used a size 4 eagle claw hook and a bobber. I tried putting in the shallows, for about 30 minuted, I had no action. Not even a nibble. I cast out into the mill foil hoping to get a largemouth to come out from the underbrush. No action, so I tried switching to bluegill . A and perch. I used a couple small green jigs. White head, green body. I switched to trout. Fished out about 20 yds. from the dock using orange/green power bait. Nothing. I gave up after about 2 hours and headed back. Next Monday I am going to fish from shore. All in all I had a pretty good time. I saw a couple meaty bluegill in the shallows. I don't know why they weren't biting. But I don't think that the lake lake deserves a bad rating. I will write the next report on next weeks trip. Any suggestions?

very good lake! The weeds there are like christmas trees...other than that just pick your spots..the est shore has plenty og laydowns, logs and drop offs that should hold nice bass. I caught a 4 and 6.10 this yr out of there!

nice info basstradamus just gave same advice to the previous guy reporting fenwick.funny u said same sizes i did guess were both dialed in lol.start at the first logs laying east and west in the south end and the east shore is actually deeper than u think it runs from 0 to 16 ft at spots so work them well be patient this lake gives only a couple bites u have to be willing to except that or u will hate the lake and wont get the oppurtunity to be there when u do get bit.like to hook up some time basstradamus ive fished every lake around there so im familiar with most.anyway hit me up.

Thanks guys. I think i'll try my Rapala firetiger dive-to and the south end by the logs.

Fishinrob,

I've fished every lake in that area except for fivemile "no boat launch" I currently only fish on saturdays now. I've had my best season so far and caught my PB this yr as well. So now im just spending 1 day away chasing BIG BASS. I usually hit those south king county lakes during the weekdays after work since i work down south.. But i live up north and i just fish northern lakes on my days off. Maybe we'll hook up sometime.

PM me with some info. I'll send you a link to the video of the fenwick pigs!!!
