It was very beautiful morning. The weeds were tall so access was limited to three cement points where they recently cut them down. My friend and I caught 8 trout total and several warmouth. We first tried worms and maggots but the sunfish (warmouth I think) would swarm them and pull your bobber under no matter what before the trout even had a chance to look at the bait. We switched to powerbait and did pretty good using a slip bobber right off the bottom. We used pink, green, and green power eggs. Both seemed to work very well. Still no large fish so I either they are fished out or I'm still doing something wrong.
