Had just gotten my float tube so decided to make a trek out to Lewis Lake. More to practice with the tube but if i got some fishing in it is just a win - win. Caught two dinks right away before the float tube decided I was to much for it and the cover ripped. As I wasn't really looking to catch anything and was just looking for the experience on the tube, which by the way was awesome, i was very happy to bring in what I did. After I came into shore and had the waders on I fished for a little more. Between my friend and I we caught a handful of dinks .. 12" being the largest. All in all a good time and will be getting a bigger and better float tube.

Too bad about the tube. I had that happen the first day of a trip to Canada. I was stuck in the middle of nowhere on a beautiful lake with no floatation. Thanks to my buddies generosity I was still able to fish, trading off with them when they wanted a break. As soon as I got home I bought a pontoon boat and have never looked back!

I quickly went out and got a new tube. I now have a Caddis Navigator II, with its 350# capacity I am hoping to stay above the water line. I am taking it out tonight to see how it does. Just looking at it I am more comfortable with it than the round Browning tube that I had. My wife made a comment that the round tube looked like I should be getting in the kiddie pool. LMAO

Man, sorry to hear that and thanks for the report. I have been through the exact same thing with the tubes! I had a Caddis that worked great. I then bought a Browning and the cover started falling apart right away. Now I need a new one.
