Nice day on the lake, but poor fishing for us. This was the first time I had ever been skunked at Goodwin. We fished from 8-3. We used pop gear/cow bells and a red/orange wedding rigging with a treble power bait dough hook. I have always used orange power bait at this lake and have had good success. We fished as deep as we could go with a 4 ounce weight. However, we only had one bite and one fish on (loss it) the entire day. We spoke with another boat and they had done well between 7-9 on the southern end using pop gear to troll and a red lure.
