There is a pair of Eagles that have a nest over the Nile golf course about 3 years ago I caught a trout (lip catch) and it got away at the last second. I said to the guy next to me - another happy customer served and that fish won't be somebody's dinner for.... (eagle swooshed down and picked up the trout) about another 5 seconds.

1/20/2009 3:22:00 PMOOPs....Pushed wrong button... I was at Ballinger yesterday also and saw those eagles going after something...Duck??? Something ...It was splashing and the eagles were diving after it. Over by the south end of the island. I don't think they ever got it.... I didn't get it either ...Not a bite, Nada, zippo!! Must be too cold or maybe it was me??? Nope ,it was cold!
