That's a nice looking trout ya got there. It was a tough day on the water that day, but you pegged a good one, and have braggin rights. Not just any hole of water will give you a chance at that size fish. Great pic and report.

1/21/2009 3:54:00 PMThanks Blufin Loui! No braggin rights though. A guy a couple spaces down the bank hit a 5 pounder at the same time. That's the way it seems to work there. 2-3, maybe 5 people will get bites at the same time and then nothing happens for an hour. It's worth the wait though, the next 15 lb triploid could be at the end of your line.

The fish cruise the area instead of just hanging out in a "territory", even though there are spots where the bite seems more consistent.
Hope you guys get a chance to fish it again sometime.
