First time in many years that I have fished this lake, started out with my rapala on a downrigger nothing doing, went to a dick nite, nothing, talk to another boat said black wooley bugger tip with worm is the ticket, no worms went with a black wooley bugger soaked in scent fish on 20 minutes later 15" or so, kept fishing, had a hugh take, took some line and he was gone, would of like to seen that one. That was it for me, a would like to mention a father and his son still fishing with power bait hooked a VERY nice fish on the North East side of the lake, it made my day to see how excited they were when they finally netted the fish, the picture is of them,

way to go man! It's hard to believe you didn't get one with the dreaded rapala. bet you needed the sun screen,I almost called in sick with the fishin flu but as you know, my boss knows where to look for me. What a beautiful day to be on the water. nice job on the father son pic!
