Hit Kapowsin for the first time. Me and FishingFreak went out on his boat on a beautiful day. Water temps were around 46 - 49. Warmer than I have seen the last time out at different lake but am sure it needs to warm up a little more. I fished jigs 98 percent of the time as I am determined to catch a fish then more with that technique. Not a bite was to be had for us. But it was the first time there and we were exploring more than focusing in on fishing. So with that we fished too fast. Lost one jig on underwater structure. Then caught another one but didn't let FishingFreak know I was hung up and reel tried to stop the boat and the trolling motor. Reel doesn't seem the same after that so need to look into some repair I think. Hit a lot of stumps, not the boat, my jig but as I said didn't fish slow enough for the temps I am sure. I think I met Salmon Killer at the dock not sure though.
