3/28/2009 7:43:00 PMAs far as I know you could be on the right place and catch nothing. A friend of mine went to Ballinger Thursday with his boat. He knows the lake well, and caught nothing... not a byte. It might be that the water is too cold because of the weird winter we had.

3/28/2009 9:09:00 PMI have fished this lake a lot, I grew up near there. Over the many years it has always been a very slow lake for me. The positive experience I've had was I think on warm night in about June when the days are longer. I fished from my boat along the lilly pad fields at the North end. We caught a lot of planter trout, but at least it was fish.
