Went to blackman's yesterday with my buddy Jordan and when we pulled in, I couldn't believe how many people were there for a weekday. We talked to a few guys and they said it was normal for that many people and there wasn't a lot being caught. We saw one 13" trout when we first got there and one guy said he caught 1 earlier on in the day but other than a few fish from people on boats there wasn't a whole lot going on. I did manage to catch 3 small trout (8 -9"). One of them I caught on a little 1/10th ounce silver acme spoon, another on a K4 blue and silver pattern flatfish, and then the last one near the end of the day was on 2 chartreuse power eggs with a 3 1/2 - 4 foot leader, a single large split shot and a size 8 single egg hook, I didnt even know the last fish was on until I picked up my pole and started reeling and felt weight and a head shake.
