Water temp at public launch was 51 degrees at 11 a.m. and got to 56 degrees by the end of the day (6:30 p.m.). best lure used was a jig and plastic craw in black color. Water was muddy and got windy at times but if you stay in the coves and fish calmer water boat, line, and lure control was easier. Had 7 strikes today and caught 3 of the fish which was the first bass for me for the year which started at first 4lbs 12 ozs, 4lbs 1oz, and the last at 6lbs 1oz. All fish were caught in shallow water,1 to 3 ft., under prop chop lily pad blow in up against the bank.
