Well I got out about 9:30,put on the waders, and hopped in my floatboat. About and hour into it I caught 2 rainbows about 12inches between the dock and the island, Using a trolling technique with #6 Rapala. I was having a great time, until I noticed that I was WAY OUT ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE LAKE. The dock was about 2mm SMALL!! I have no idea how I got out that far! I must have drifted without paying attention. So I started kicking my frog feet back towards the dock, still fishing. WOW I WONDER WHERE ALL OF THESE BUBBLES ARE COMING FROM??? I tell you what, when it clicked that I had a hole in in my floatboat. I PANICKED!! I have never used my leg muscles like that before in life! It took about 30 mins to get back to shore, but I did. The hole wasn't big enough to sink. I could have fished all day. It just scared the shit out of me! No wonder they say never go out float boating by yourself, even if it's a small lake. But I had fun catching those fish. You'll probably see me out there again, but this time keeping an eye on dock.
