Cold Wind Blowing. Went to Antilon for the first time this year, Arrived around 1400ish, Threw Kastmasters, Crocodiles, & Jigs. Got hits and follows on all and could not find a pattern. Several strikes but only 6-7 hook-ups, with 4 to the shore. Size was from 10-12 inches and very colorful. We cast from shore approx an hour and a half, then headed in. A few other fishers on the lake, some shore and some trolling. Was told by others a very slow day today because of the wind, and one fellow said there was still some ice on the lake last week. Air temp at 50 degrees, and with the wind, it got uncomfortable quickly. It was very scenic with the flowers starting to bloom and the hills are looking green.

Hey Loui... (Antilon is one of my favorite crappie lakes too!) Beautiful browns! I was wondering if you might like to hook up for some crappie fishing up at Banks Lake while they are there and you can catch good numbers. Let me know if you want too.. thanks, The Jigmiester P.s You remind me of a Mr. Benson, a teacher who I used to fish with...He's gone now, but my memories are always there. (I graduated from Manson High school years ago.) Later TJM

Hey TJM, I like to chase the crappie in antilon as they are plentiful, and the roses and wapito have some sight fishing when the water warms and post spawn. Good luck with the fish jerking
