Set out early in Saturday morning and started fishing. The rain was pretty bad, but I was determined. I was fishing with my dad and one of my friends, and we all decided on making a bet...$2 for the biggest and the most.

As I stated in my last report, I know what works in this lake and I knew I will catch fish. Sure enough about an hour into fishing I caught a 1.5lb. It wasn't until about another hour later until I caught another one (after the rain stopped). But when the rain stopped I couldn't keep them off my pole!!! Soon enough I have all ready caught 4 fish (that all over 1 lb, that I was keeping). Fished for another hour, in the mean time I convinced my friend to try what I was using, since he hasn't had even a bite yet. So he finally gave in and said "sure". His first cast he caught one (which was his only one, because they were all on my pole). Well after watching my friend get stuck in the weeds, I saw this log that I wanted to cast to. I am glad I did that because I hooked a monster. She was about
3-5 pounder...I get the fish all the way up to my belly boat and I saw that I hooked her right in the bottom lip, and I knew it wasn't going to hold, so I reached over and as soon as that bass saw my hand grabbing for his mouth, he starting jumping like crazy, hook came un-done and he dropped right in the water, but I wanted this fish really bad, and when he dropped in the water I reached in grabbing his tail, but I could hold him. Maybe next time.

Over all after the rain stopped, about 4-5 boats on the lake. So until my next report, have fun fishing!!!
