We headed out for a couple hours, not expecting much. Trolling for 4 hours produced 2 small stockers and 4 other bites. Used a blue/silver spinner with chartreuse power eggs for best results. Hopefully fishing will pick up, love the lake and location!

Green Double Whammies with a half night crawler. If you want the bigger fish go deep but I like a 1/4 oz sliding weight 20-40 feet behind the boat and troll slow. Watch your poles and when they are showing the most action that is the best speed.

First time fishing Offut. Stayed at the Resort, pretty impressed with it, nice, clean, quiet. But---someone needs to warn people about THE OTTER. Three out of four of us limited out on the dock fishing on bottom with power bait. THE OTTER did do so bad, either. Cleaned off two fish from the stringer B-4 we knew there was an otter), got into two fish baskets (not ours). Took three of our fish right off the line before we could get them on the dock. Someone needs to put a M80 into a fish and let him take that. I love animals but I definitely will be getting hold of Wil E. Coyote for that number to ACME before we go back.
