Eleven guys fishing this year, down from 14, due to commitments and poor catch numbers in past two years. We fished from daylight until Noon on Saturday for the ninth year in a row with marginal improvement in catch numbers over past two years, but nothing like trips before that time. Unable to troll due to floating green globs of slime on surface of lake. All fished within conversation distance of each other using slip sinker and mostly rainbow powerbait and only one boat (3 of the "old Guys") limited....go figure. :) Most of us felt lucky to catch any at all. The fish we did catch from Friday afternoon to 10:00 a.m. Sunday were all well over 12" and FAT with a fair number of larger fish, all with red flesh and delicious eating.
