I went fishing at Angle again today and I caught a couple planter fish and so did my neighbor. The fishing was slow but they seemed to bite when we had pop gear on. I caught one of my fish when I hooked someone else's line on the bottom that happened to have a fish hooked on it. When I reeled it in I figured I had hooked someone's line but turns out that fish had broken their line and the hook and line was still in him and it got hooked on my line. I wish this was a better fishing lake since it is so close to my house, but very little luck so far at this lake.

I have fished Angle a lot for Kokanee in the pasted but since the WDFG decided to quit planting them I still fish Angle for trout because it is close to home. Try using a 0000 brass and chrome dodger and a chartruce weddingring with a 30" leader and a small piece of worm on it. Troll slow and you will catch fish. I have a 12' Mirror Craft with a Minn Kota motor if you see me out there give me a yell.
PS I have my best fishing on this lake from sun up till around 10:00 AM.

Do you have any tips for dock fishing?

In the morning use a 10' to 12' leader as the fish will be on to top and as the sun comes up go to a 7' to 8'. I have had the best luck with chartruce an orange power eggs. Watch what the old timers are using they catch a lot of fish off that dock.
