5/25/2009 2:44:00 AMi feel the same way, i've been goin to the cove for the past 16 years in a row, and i can never understand why people keep the 8 to 10 inchers. But yeah scotty and nadine are really great people. love this lake.

Went to "The Cove" last weekend for the first time in about 15 years. Had a blast... We went down to the store and talked to Scotty who owns the place. He hooked us up with some of his "High Lake Specials". They worked great tipped with a night crawler or a Gulp worm trolling about 75 feet behind the boat at about 1-1.5 for a speed. The only problem is that the fish need to grow up a little more. Too many people pulling stringers out with 8-10 inch fish. I can see maybe one that small for your kid but not a whole stringer. Come on, let em grow up a bit before doing that. It was a lot of fun though, you should really try it.
