Myself and fellow walakes angler, MattyG, arrived at the Fishing bridge a little before 7a. The bridge wasn't too crowded when we arrived. The water level was a tad bit lower from my last trip here and more debris floating. Matt started fishing in the middle and I was fishing towards the farthest end towards the parking lot. We both were using a small float and cocktail shrimp. I was about 8ft deep and Matt was about 6ft. I limited out within the hour followed by Matt struggling to catch his last fish. I would say the action came quickly and then died. We were there for a couple hours and seen several limits being caught but the size of the fish were averaging about 10-12 inches.
On our way out, we stopped off at the MossyRock dam. The bite was on there as well and seen a huge fish snap some guy off after an intense battle. He was using shrimp and worm combo. I did get a glimpse of the fish and it was easily over 25 inches. It made a nice run and just didn't stop. From the look of his line, we were guessing he didn't tie his knot properly.
Overall, good times fishing with a good friend.
