Good news bad news. Took my Gal Bass fishing as she has never done it and I am trying to learn it. We did absolutely no good, what so ever. In fact, from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. we caught a total of two rock bass. It was good though, because now she sees how hard I work trying, lol. She got pooped out casting, but I give her my props as she started out horrible and by the end was sticking her senko right up against the logs or brush.
Fished here two weeks ago and never saw a fish. Since, I have broke down and purchased a pair of copper lensed (glass) Costa Del Mar sunglasses. Bought my Girlfriend a pair of Maui Jim's in Bronze lens. I would say that today I saw at least 50 fish, mostly little, but one about 3-4 pounds that followed my jig up. She could see equally as well with the Maui's, I think, not sure as I never tried them. Good investment!
hot weather! poor fishing. will try again.

how much were the glasses? Kapowsin has produced some great fish in the past. Andy's dock used to have pics of HUGE bass. I have caught huge trout out there while duck hunting before ;)

lol, very very expensive. And don't get me wrong, I could not see my target out there, like bass, for example. But I fished the same lake before and never saw a fish underwater, and yesterday I saw schools of little fishys, maybe bluegill? Saw bigger fish up to ten inches in like 4 feet of water in schools. Not sure what they were, are there perch in Kapowsin, that would be my guess. The back half of the tails appeared dark underwater. Maybe even Rainbows, I guess.
I like Kapowsin. Lot's of cover for fish, that's for sure. Hehemm, ok, the cheapest I found for the Costa's with the copper glass was $228, online. My GF's Maui's are like 160 or 170 online. I never bought anything like that before, but I have no regrets, I truly love them.

Wow! Droppin some duckets for the shades. The way I go through shades, I cant justify spending alot of money on them. I'm the king of jumping into the water forgeting that they are on my head. I found some decent ones at Cabella's for about $40 that I'm really happy with. They helped out alot at Banks last weekend. Sorry to hear that you got skunked at Kapowsin, once it warms up a bit more, and the largies are done spawning, it will get alot better.

Good report, I am not very far from Kapowsin and want to put more time on that body of water with my float tube this summer. Once I peel myself away from the other lakes I have been fishing ... lol.
