6/8/2009 4:50:00 PMThanks, the upper part from 9 mile to TumTum was middle 60's so the water is indeed a little warmer near the inlet. Sounds like the fish were just as aggressive though. Well done.

Lauched at the spokane county campground west of tum tum a little after 6 . me and a buddy from softball were greeted with a short burst of wind and rain. we braved the elements, for which we were not prepared, and were rewarded with a great morning of catching. we boated about 40 fish ranging from 10-13 inches. we also caught a couple bigger ones, and missed one huge one( saw her take the lure and spit it after a furious 3 second battle).
we used tube baits(brown and watermelon) and also a skirted jig with a soft crawdad body. fished the north side from the launch to the dam. water was pretty clear and 61 degrees.
