We launched the boat at 5:30am; water temp was warm, 70+. Hot and sunny, wind was very calm until about 11am. We started off at some of the weedbeds near the river mouth and in coves, no luck. Hit the steep rock banks next, no luck. We didn't get any bites on the various stump fields either. Hit the chunk rock banks that had big rocks underwater, finally found the fish. On both sides of the lake we looked for the chunk rock bank, when we found it we also found the fish. All the fish were in about 12-20 feet of water, we had no luck in anything shallower. We caught a few dinks, caught a few bigger ones; the biggest being about 2.5lbs.
