Made it out to the lake with FishinFreak at about 5:00ish. Got the boat onto the water and darted over to the far side of the lake. All the normal places were not holding the fish. I ended up catching 7 and lost 2. 2 of the 7 were on a spinnerbait which was cool as I begin to gather a little more confidence in using it. FishinFreak caught 4 as well. It seemed the fish were pushed out from the shore and most were caught 10 - 25 out. All were dinks but it was a good time out fishing and just like every trip I gain more experience and confidence. I know the big ones are hiding in that lake but just haven't zeroed in on them since the spring. Thanks again FishinFreak letting me be a backseat on the boat!
