Finally got on the water after thawing out the steering cable and the water pump. Launched at Seton's Grove and headed to the first pens. Tried rooster tails and jigs to no avail then switched to GSR-7 Rapala in blue and tiger striped perch colors, these produced. Pictured are my son-in -law and my son with 12.5,10.8, 8.5 pounders. The little one is mine. Had a great time and enjoyed the lesson in catching from my son!

Hey guys, when you are trolling Rapalas, what other gear are you running? Blades, Trolling lead, leader length? I troll myself and just curious about the 'tickulars. Nice fish!! My youngest, 12 yrs., out-fishes me half the time and is damn proud of it, and so am I!!

Hey kahuna, it's kinda nice when you can say "The little one is mine." and is weighs in over 8 pounds. Keep up the reports and good luck on your future excursions.
