Well what to say. Was very slow and heard of no one even getting bites. Listened to people talking that even in the boats it was a no go. They are marking fish but no bites and talked to a creel checker from the tribe and she said when people are cleaning the ones caught for last few months their stomachs have had lots of snails. So we tried the closet thing in Power Bait we had which is purple with black flakes and nymph scented. No luck, maybe a hit on my daughters . We only fished for a few hours seeing the water was real cloudy and a lot of junk and debrie floating around.
When I could I tried jigs spinners and the Power Bait with now results. I guess I will just keep trying. I felt bad for my kid I wanted her to get at least one.

I here ya. It definitely makes a difference for the kids to catch something.

Yes it does but she is a trooper and since the fish weren't biting she found rocks for her collection. But we will try again soon and one of these times we will get one. Maybe not catching a few times means catching bigger next. Yes I am fisherman so I am optimistic LOL.

Hey Malottguy, I'll agree your daughter is A Trooper, and she will probably hang in there and catch another bigger fish than yours. LOL She's one tough Girl. I'm glad you mentoned her rock collection, We'll put together a suprise box for her. The slow bite on the lower end sure has me stumpped. Wish it would pick up soon. Stay well and keep the family happy so you can go fishing more. LOL

Blufin if it is rocks especially shiny or unusual she would love it and thank you for doing something like that. Yeah the fish are there but being stubborn or know something we dont. I was going to ask when another trip might be possible with you. Doesnt have to be soon if you dont like but was a blast fishing with you.
