The wife and I decided to try out Black Lake at the public access point and we weren't dissappointed. Her first cast in she reeled in an about 6 inch Rainbow. Then a couple casts later she got another one a little bigger. She also had one that got away. I only got one myself, but I was using a bigger spoon than she was. She got hers all on a small pink Rooster Tail, and I got my on an orange spoon. We had talked to a couple older gentlemen who came off a boat and they said the trout fishing was great as well as pulling in a couple perch and crappie, along with a bullhead. They were bottom fishing with nightcrawlers.
