Fished from about 9am to 2:30pm in the portabote. Fished the first two hours alone, got one srtike, no hookups on wedding ring and worm. After talking with a successful angler on the lake, switched to dragging a rapala. Soon after the switch, my sister in-law shows up. She had not fished in decades. She picked up a license and snacks at Freddys, meets me at the boat launch. We head out, I hand her a pole with the rapala on it, and she get a fish on, an 11 inch rainbow! After a while she lands a 13 incher. Later she loses one at the boat. I got nada, zippo, skunkola. Well, at least one of us got fish! :) There were several other boats out, and numerous dockside anglers. Water was 52 degrees. The weater varied a lot, rain, drizzle, sun, wind, then no wind.

Nice! Looks like a hold over and a stocker.

Urban.. HA, I like it! Last week you spanked me. This week your rookie Sister in law shows up and spanks you! Looks like you showed her a good time though.

Ah, Urban, so that was you in the portaboat. I was the guy in the green V-tube - we chatted a few times in passing. I ended up with a lot of bite on the north end drop-shoting crawlers, but they were all dinks. I'm still holding out and hoping for some chunky holdovers!

yup, that was me, guitar, nice kinda meetin you! Yeah, Quad, I got humbled like you were with me. Good to keep my head small, and I think she did have some fun, if not a little spoiled now on her first time out in so long. :)
