Fish'd from 5:00-7:30pm at the same spot where I caught trout last friday. there was a good breeze blowing so I put on a Panther Martin spinnerin rainbow (Blue) color. caught for nice 13-14"cutt's in the first four cast's lost one on the fifth then a few bow's, switch'd to the tiny pink tinsel jig I've been using before and caught (5) more bow's and (1) cutt. when the breeze died down and they start'd taking bugs off the surface again.caught (13) in all. Lost several others from their performing jumps. All were very fat and full, several had been eating big leech's. this lake gets hard to fish in the summer so now is the time to fish it. have not found any ticks here.

Thanks for the report panfisher. It's good to see these lakes get some exposure and make use of the fish that get planted.

I was fishing from shore (wading)in the first section of the lake on the left of the restroom. If you look across from the dock that is high and dry you will see somewhat of a point on the left half way across where it looks really shallow. the fish will feed in the deeper part out in the middle. If you are bait fishing I would use 1/2 a worm 2-21/2ft below a bobberas it would simulate a leech and or the big dragonfly nymphs that is a part of what they are eating. If it is to windy use a small spinner such as a panther Martin realing as slow as possible, they do not like it fast.

Are there really cutthroats in Martha? Can you attach some photos?
