Finally broke the 2010 jinx. Today was my 7th trip of the year and my third to Kapowsin and I finally caught a bass. Used plastics and what not, to no avail, and finally put on a spinner that is kind of like a rooster tail, but it is a little different. Figured I couldn't catch a bass, I could catch a trout. About my 5th cast I caught a LMB, and then another and another. Although small, they were plentiful. They ranged from 4 inches up to 12 or 13 inches. All total, 9 LMB to the boat, two lost at the boat, and two more just plain old lost. Also, caught 2 smallish Cuts and 1 Rainbow. Had maybe 5 or 6 more bites that I missed and had three larger bass follow my spinner up with no bites, one looked to be around 15 or 16 inches.

Fished from 8:45 or so, to about 3:30.

Not big but will add photo's just because it feels good to get off the snide!

This gives me hope Arnie! I have a three year skunk record. Tried one day of Salmon fishing in the Puyallup last year. All around me, people were catching fish. Finally the guy next to me gave me two of his four. :) I'm going Sat AM to Kapowsin. Usually fish for trout but am going to try the scum frog for bass. Maybe my jynx will be broken.
