Caught 8 ranging from 1lb in 10 ft to 3.5 at 25 ft. All caught on perch pattern dive cranks, fast retrieve, staggered jerk pattern. Seems the males are starting to move up to scout out and clear some beds for the sows. Since the water has finally risen maybe things will get back to normal but it's going to take the fish time to get acclimated. Water temp was 52 at the high 54.
Gotta get these nights out of the 40's soon, it's not supposed to warm up until the 12th. Got to reach that 58 mark and then it's on.
One good thing is the public park launch stays open until 8 pm now unlike last year when they were closing it at 4.

The water was low for so long at Tapps and the water temp at the hottest time of the day is stuck around 53 on the surface. Plus the fish are bumping the bait not taking it due to the water temp and to defending the territory. Every fish caught was hooked by the back treble on the opercle or just below it, even the females.
