I was at Green Lake for about an hour and a half. Started tossing a panther martin spinner and landed 2 and 1 self release. Tried different lures with no more hits. So I decided to use chartreuse power eggs. Three cast and three fish on. 2 landed and the third fish broke my line at the knot. Changed tactics again and tossed a kastmaster. A fresh planter took it and I let himself release at the dock. Caught the fifth one on power eggs and called it a day.

Some jerk saw me catching fish and fished next to me. He caught a 8 inch planter and it was bleeding badly. He tossed the poor fish back into the lake after I let him use my hook remover. I tried to educate him about fishing with bait and the high mortality rates. By now, the fish was floating upside down right next to the dock and he still didnt keep it. He wanted to catch the triploids. Needless to say, I didn't give any fsihing afvise and I hope he didnt catch anymore fish.

I can't stand those guys either, between fishin next to you and killin a little guy, I feel the same way. Not too much longer and guys will be doin the same thing at the river.

I see a lot of that at Green Lake. It's the lake that a lot of people that don't know anything about fishing go to, and they don't respect the fish a lot of the time. Plus, the trout are delicious whether or not they're 8 or twenty inches.
