Was a little better today, Caught about 12 smallies and 3 rock bass. All fish were dinks though, and I didn't care to catch rock bass. Most fish were caught a small light brown tube that cut about 3/4 inch off the head to make it smaller. Any bigger lures they would just short stike. I missed that many also. All caught on six lb P-line.

When rippin a rattle trap i had a musky about 40 inch follow to boat. That was in front of point to right from boat launch.

Also, it was day two of a bass tourney, I had to run to my truck to get more clothes cuz of crappy weather when they were doing weigh-ins. Most of the fish i saw were small biggest was just over 3lbs. and I only saw one limit. Most guys said it was a tough day.

This is my second year getting "serious" about bass fishin so today was my best smallie day so far. I caught my first one on drop-shot, which shows how much of a rookie I am still.
