6/10/2010 12:44:00 PMI have always wanted to try to fly fish Liberty lake. I want to target the big browns in there with a deep sinking line and nymphs and chronomids.. I bet if you increased your size of your fly your size of fish would go up. The small ones wont be able to bother you.
Example is Fish lake. I fish for the tiger trout that feed off of the pumpkin seed sunfish with a fly pattern no less then 4 inches tied on a 2 or 4 hook.. it is like fishing for bass.
Try a bigger hook next time and I do believe you will catch larger fish.
