Hit Long Lake for a few hours before dark tonite with my roommate. Pitching T-rigged dark green senkos at the shoreline on the northwest corner of the lake. Heaved a cast out over a patch of lily pads and felt him smack the senko on the drop. Set the hook and started the fight. Ran me into the lilys and got all tangled up. I was worried I was going to lose it for sure the way it was tangled. Couldn't pull the 14lb mono up anymore as I trolled over top of him so I just reached down in the lake and felt for its open mouth and pulled this nice 3.5 lber up into the boat. No other fish this evening and none for my buddy but oh well, I left happy, not bad for 2 and half hours on the lake! Tight lines!

Do you run an Allison bass boat ? Nice fish.

Was out there the same day. And caught two at that weight. One was 3.8 and the other just at 4lbs. Could swallow that guy. I posted the pics in the bass forum under "not quite trophy but still nice bass" thread. Check it ou. I'm calling 1.8lbs maybe 2lbs. at best. Next time I'm out I'll look for ya. I fish here a lot when the fishn is good.

I checked out those pics fishnislife, looking good! What were ya throwin' at em? I do run an Allison btw, red and white XTB-21.

One on the buzz trimming the weedlines. The other pitching a senko up under wood. Couldn't find any off of the docks and none up in the pads either.
