When I arrived late in the afternoon the lake was glass. I setup camp and quickly headed out in my pontoon boat. Fishing a homemade spinner I caught and released about 10 spunky 10-15 inch bows in about a hour. I was surprised the water is still like pea soup in some areas. The next several days the lake was glass all day, so what a pleasure to be able to fish this lake without dealing with the wind. Every time I went out I caught at least 10 trout. Nothing big, all in the 10-15 inch range. Others were doing quite well also and I was seeing fish caught on a regular basis.
