Hit up lake sixteen wednesday. Got a late start due to watching the soccer game so had to deal with the heat all day. Got to the lake about 10:30ish and started trolling a green wedding ring and my buddy was using a dick nite. trolling has not been hot for me this year so I quickly switched over to a bobber and worms. Lost a couple over in the southwest cornner of the lake. It was getting hot out so we went to the other end over by the private dock on the north side and threw out some pink power eggs. pulled a trout in about every 20 min. my buddy was not getting anything. After i got my 4th my buddy finally pulls one in after switching up to the pink power eggs that I was using. saw some trout jumping out in the middle so we head out there and throw out our bobbers and worms and after about 5 min. I got impatient and decided to troll the bobbers at a low speed and right away picked up my 5th trout. after I had my limit I jumped into the lake to cool off while my buddy tryed to get his 2nd but it did not come and we headed in with 6 trout and some bad sun burns. seems like the trout are getting a lot bigger then they were on opening day. Two were 15" and 16" and the rest were in the 12"-13" range.
