I got to the lake at 5:00pm and launched my little 8' jon boat. Trolled down to the south end of the lake with no bites. When I got in front of the blue boat house I went to the bottom with a worm and within 20 min or so I had a 12 incher in the boat. I was a couple hundered yards in front of the blue boat house but since I dont have an anchor i was drifting. Had to reposition myself a few times. After about an hour of drift fishing I put on a green wedding ring with a fairly small hook tipped with a piece of worm from my back yard. Trolled back and forth accross the lake real slow and starting hitting the right spots. I had a total of three in the boat and three more that got away right at the boat. All were over 12". Wind picked up and wouldnt you know my damn battery runs out of juice, I had to row (with one oar) all the way back up to the launch. Needless to say that took some time and I am sore today.

All in all I had a good time on the lake, got some fish and some exercise. Will be going back for the lunkers at the south end of the lake in front of the blue boat house. I've heard thats where they say they hide....
