This was the first time I had fished this lake in a few years and it was great. Expect a lot of wind when you fish this lake. Better have a big boat. It blew the whole time, although there are places you can hide from the wind. As far as the fishing, the 2 of us caught 15 fish in about 2 1/2 hours between 7:30 am and 10:00 am. We fished on the Northern side of the lake, the side the wind was blowing towards, and it was extremely good fishing. There were numerous times when we both had fish on at the same time. We fished Jameson for the opener last week, and this was better. The fish ranged in size from about 10-14 inches.
