Camped at Alder State park. Few of us hit up the lake at about 9am on my friend's boat. within the first 45 minutes, i caught a keeper. we had many bites the rest of the day but none of us could get anything else in. we went back to shore around noon. That was it for us, but i gave this day a decent rating because other people were having better luck. A nice man gave us about 4 kokanee that he didnt want. He said he caught them near the dam area, around the same time we were out, which we didnt think of trying. the wedding ring he was using was red. Seems like kokanee are still biting pretty hard on the lake tho.
