7/17/2010 11:28:00 PMcool man, i stopped by the public access on 125th street, dinky park and me without a boat was no go! Man some people hate fishers. Was intimidated so folks that thought fishing must yield right of way to anyone else that wanted to use the shoreline. Your leaf blower guy reminded me of that. Well, at least he did own that part of the shore. I was at greenlake. Some people....

It seems (from my experience there) the warmer the weather, the larger and more scetchy the crowd is at that little park. I know there were a few times last summer where I just turned around and went back home or someplace else. Quad, Motoboat and I fished it the evening before from 7-10pm, there were only a couple guys there when we launched, when we got out of the water about 10pm there was nobody there, but whole area reeked of alcohol.

7/19/2010 11:16:00 AMgood running into everyone I ran into! I myself caught a little guy on my first cast, skipping a senko under a dock. I think the key with Haller is get there early. Two weeks ago I started the morning solo, and when I pulled at 1pm I carried the 'toon through what looked like a family reunion! Everyone was cool though, asked if I caught anything, etc. It's a good place to been from 6am - 11am though.

7/19/2010 11:54:00 AMWhen I finished fishing, there was a party of four young adults there playing fetch with their dog and lounging in the sun. Dog would not fetch a ball out of the water, so I brought it in for them. When I was struggling to drag my bote filled with all of my gear up the hill back to the car, one of those guys offered to help me drag it up. Very nice! And he offered to help again a little later when I was breaking the bote down. His eyes looked a little glassy, but that didn't seem to slow him down much -- said he needed the exercise. :)
